Description
The SCM T130E is a professional spindle moulder built for workshops that require precision, durability and efficient workflow. As part of the SCM Class range, it combines a solid cast iron construction with electronic adjustment features, making it well suited to both general joinery and production work.
At the core of the machine is a fixed spindle system supported by a heavy cast iron column, providing excellent rigidity and reducing vibration during operation. This ensures clean, accurate cuts when carrying out profiling, rebating, grooving and tenoning tasks. The spindle is fully enclosed within a cast iron housing, protecting internal components from dust and extending the lifespan of the machine.
The “E” version includes electronic control of key movements, such as spindle height and fence positioning, allowing quicker and more precise setup compared to manual machines. This reduces downtime between jobs and improves repeatability, particularly when working on batches of identical components.
This machine is supplied with a power feed, which is a major practical advantage in day-to-day use. The power feed provides a consistent and controlled feed rate, improving surface finish, increasing safety and reducing operator fatigue. It is especially useful when machining longer runs of material or heavier sections, where manual feeding can lead to inconsistencies.
