MK and MTFA Ranges

MK units are Inventair’s standard bag extractors. A fan draws waste through your ducting into the unit. Heavier chips and shavings drop into polythene bags, and finer dust is caught by Highglaze Terylene needlefelt filters. Clean air goes back into the workshop, so you don’t lose the heat you’ve paid for. The MK number matches the number of bags, from the MK1 to the MK6.

MTFA units are the multi-filter versions, built for finer dust from MDF and chipboard. They have a larger filter area, swirl baffles that help the bags fill evenly, and an automatic shaker that cleans the filters each time the unit shuts down.

Which Size Do You Need?

Size the extractor for the number of machines running at the same time, not the total number in the workshop.

For a single machine, an MK1 or MK2 is enough. A small joinery shop with two or three machines running together usually needs an MK3 or MK4. For several machines at once, or a lot of MDF and chipboard work, look at an MK6, or an MTFA unit for the finer dust.
