SCM Group

We supply new, used and ex-demonstration SCM woodworking machinery, covering almost every stage of a joinery or panel workshop. SCM is one of our main suppliers, and every SCM machine we sell is delivered, installed and commissioned by us, with training, servicing and spare parts afterwards. Finance is available on all of them.

About SCM Group

SCM is based in Rimini, Italy, and built its first woodworking machine in 1952. Since then it has grown into one of the largest woodworking machinery groups in the world, bringing together specialist brands for each type of machine: Minimax for smaller workshops, Gabbiani for beam saws, Morbidelli for CNC and panel machining, Stefani for edgebanding and Sergiani for presses.

SCM Machines We Supply

• Panel saws: SCM Nova and Minimax sliding table saws.
• Edgebanders: SCM Olimpic and Stefani machines, from compact models to production lines.
• Beam saws: Gabbiani beam saws for high-volume sheet cutting.
• CNC machinery: Morbidelli and Accord machining centres, and Pratix nesting machines.
• Combination machines: Minimax universal combined machines for smaller workshops.
• Other machines: boring machines, tenoning machines, hydraulic presses, sanding machines and bandsaws from across the SCM range.

SCM or Minimax?

Minimax is SCM’s range for smaller workshops, joiners and schools. The machines are simpler and more compact, and cost less. Machines sold under the SCM name are built for heavier daily use and higher output. If you’re choosing between the two, tell us how many hours a day the machine will run and what you’ll use it for.

Servicing and Parts

We service and repair SCM machines, and supply spare parts across the range. For parts, send us the machine model, serial number and a photo of the part.
