Description
The SCM Sandya 10 RCS 1100 is a heavy-duty wide belt sanding machine designed for both calibration and fine finishing of timber and panel products. Commonly used in joinery and furniture production, it is capable of producing a consistent, high-quality surface across a wide range of materials including solid wood, MDF and veneered boards.
The machine features a twin-belt configuration, typically consisting of a calibration roller followed by a combined roller and sanding pad unit. This setup allows efficient material removal on the first belt and a finer, more controlled finish on the second, reducing the need for multiple sanding passes.
With a working width of 1100 mm and a thickness capacity of up to around 160 mm, the Sandya 10 is well suited to handling both large panels and smaller components. The conveyor feed system moves material through the machine at controlled speeds, ensuring even sanding pressure and consistent results across the full width of the workpiece.
The machine is built around a rigid industrial frame, which reduces vibration and helps maintain accuracy during operation. Features such as pneumatic belt oscillation ensure even wear on the sanding belts and extend their lifespan, while adjustable settings allow operators to fine-tune the sanding process for different materials and finishes.
With two feed speeds and a straightforward control system, the Sandya 10 RCS 1100 is designed for efficient day-to-day use. Its combination of durability, precision and flexibility makes it a dependable solution for workshops that need consistent sanding performance in both small batch and production environments.
