Description

The SCM Class F410 is a professional surface planer designed for accurately flattening and straightening timber prior to further machining. As part of the SCM Class range, it is built for long-term reliability in workshop and production environments, offering a strong balance of precision, durability and ease of use.

The machine features long, ribbed cast iron tables that provide excellent stability and help eliminate vibration during operation, allowing for smooth and accurate planing. The infeed table moves on a precision-guided system, ensuring consistent cutting depth and maintaining accuracy over time. This makes it well suited to preparing timber for joinery work where flatness and straight edges are essential.

A four-knife cutterblock delivers clean and consistent material removal, while optional cutterblock systems such as spiral or quick-change designs can be fitted to improve finish quality and reduce noise. The tilting fence allows for accurate edge planing and angled work between 90 and 45 degrees, adding flexibility for a range of applications.
