Description
The SCM Profiset 60 Four Head Automatic Throughfeed Planer Moulder is a four-sided planer moulder that grants maximum efficiency with minimum dimensions. A perfect choice for workshops that require efficient, high-quality planing but without the means to buy or accommodate a larger planer moulder that offers full functions.
Cost-effective, safe and efficient, the Profiset 60 makes for the effortless, yet high-quality planing of both small and large quantities of timber – thanks to the quick setting and adjusting action of the heads which makes the changeover from one size to another simple and effortless.
The machine comes complete with the standard resharpenable knife blocks and has the option of both light and heavy planing TERSA disposable knife cutter heads.
Ease-of-use and a great degree of control are within arms reach of the operator thanks to the ergonomically located control panels. This focus on ergonomics allows for a more efficient operating process and makes for smooth, stable movement of the workpiece.
The addition of electronic controls makes for the automatic positioning of the left vertical spindle and top horizontal spindle. Feed speed can also be programmed and adjusted with the controls which allows for more effective management of the feed speeds.
The gearbox feed drive system alongside the cardan joints combines with the pneumatic pressure on the feed rollers. This guarantees excellent quality in performance and ensures a stable, powerful feeding process.
