Machines are listed new, used and ex-demonstration, with prices from around £5,000 to past £50,000 and finance available on any of them. Machines marked POA are built to the specification you order, so if nothing listed matches your panel sizes, tape thickness and daily volume, tell us and we will price one against them. Everything we sell is delivered, installed and commissioned by us, with operator training, servicing and spares afterwards.

What an Edge Bander does

An edgebander, also called an edge bander or an edge banding machine, applies tape or lipping to the cut edges of sheet material such as MDF, MFC, chipboard and ply. The panel feeds past a glue pot, the tape is pressed on, then the ends are cut flush, and the top and bottom edges are trimmed, scraped and buffed in the same pass. The result is a sealed edge that stands up to moisture and handling and reads as solid material rather than a cut board. The same job by hand with an iron and a trimmer is slower and rarely as consistent.

It is delivered, installed and commissioned like a new machine, with training for the people who will run it, and servicing, breakdown support and spare parts from us for as long as you have it. That is the difference between buying a used machine from a dealer and buying one at auction.

Edge Bander Pricing

The cost of an edge bander can vary depending on the specification, features, and whether you choose a new or used machine. Some of our edge banders for sale are available at fixed prices, while others are listed as Price on Application (POA) due to their advanced capabilities and custom options. To make the process more accessible, we also provide finance packages, allowing you to spread the cost of your investment while getting the right machine for your workshop.

Delivery, installation and support

We deliver nationwide, using flatbed or crane vehicles where the machine needs it, and we install and commission every machine we sell with training for the people who will run it. Servicing, breakdown support, repairs and spare parts all come from us afterwards. Our showroom is at Longridge near Preston, and we have been supplying woodworking machinery for over 30 years.
