Description

The Sedgwick TA450 is a traditional industrial sawbench designed for a wide range of cutting tasks, including ripping, crosscutting, mitring and bevel cutting. It is commonly used as a central machine in joinery workshops due to its strength, simplicity and ability to handle both solid timber and panel materials with consistent accuracy.

At the core of the machine is a 450 mm tilting saw blade, capable of cutting up to around 155 mm at 90 degrees and 105 mm at 45 degrees. The blade tilts from 0 to 45 degrees, allowing angled cuts and more complex machining operations. It is driven by a powerful 5.5 kW (7.5 hp) induction motor, providing strong and reliable cutting performance even under heavy use.

The machine is built around a large cast iron table mounted on a heavy-duty steel cabinet, providing excellent stability and reducing vibration during operation.
