Description
Standing on cast iron supports, the Minimax Model FS41E Combined Planer Thicknesser is a highly durable, highly flexible machine capable of outputting “elite” finishes.
The planer unit utilises an 87mm diameter cutter block with 3 knives (available as an option is the TERSA cutter block with 4 quick-tightening knives and automatic adjustment). The pressure of the thicknesser feed roller is able to be adjusted according to the type of material being processed. The roller infeed has a helicoidal profile to ensure firm, constant workpiece feed whilst the outfeed roller (in sandblasted steel) sustains the perfect post-processing finishing.
Producing an exceptional finish, the “Xilent” spiral knife has vastly reduced noise – making for a more comfortable, less obtrusive working environment. Also adding to a more environmentally friendly, less pollutive and healthier workplace is the improved dust extraction via the small chips. The longevity of the cutter block has been greatly extended as each cutter has 4 tips that can be rotated into the cutting position when worn.
