Description
With excellent, age-tested Sedgwick quality, the Sedgwick MB Planer Thicknesser 308mm is solid and highly durable, granting you many years of service with minimal maintenance. Great for smaller workshops – this cast iron planer thicknesser brings rear fixed tables into a compact, neatly designed structure.
The TERSA cutter block makes for an exceptional finish and runs on sealed-for-life bearings. The cutterblock is driven by an industrial motor and heavy section vee belt which, combined with the centrifugal force of the large diameter block, provides vast power.
A dual-function chip collection hood is utilized which allows for the surfacing tables to remain in place whilst thicknessing – making for total avoidance of time-consuming changeovers. Additionally, the rear machine guard totally encloses the drive assembly but can be easily removed for any maintenance requirements.
