CNC Machinery For Sale
We supply new and used CNC woodworking machines, from compact nesting machines for cabinet and furniture makers to 5-axis machining centres for complex solid wood components. Every CNC we sell is delivered, installed and commissioned by us, with operator training, servicing and spare parts afterwards, and finance is available. Most new machines are built to the specification you order, so tell us what you make, and we’ll price a machine against it.
Types of CNC Machine We Supply
Nesting machines. These cut and drill whole sheets of MDF, chipboard and ply on a flat vacuum table, and parts come off the machine ready for edgebanding and assembly. They suit kitchen, cabinet and shopfitting work, where most of what you make comes out of sheet material. We supply nesting machines from SCM, including the Morbidelli N and Pratix ranges and the Accord 42 FXM.
Routing and drilling machining centres. These use a moving gantry over a bar or pod table, and handle individual panels and parts rather than full sheets. The Morbidelli M, P and X ranges cover everything from general joinery work to high-volume panel production.
5-axis machining centres. A 5-axis head tilts as well as moves, so it can shape curved and angled parts and machine several faces without the part being repositioned. The SCM Accord 25, 30 and 40 FXM are built for solid wood and panel work that needs this kind of shaping, such as stairs, doors and furniture components.
CNC drilling centres. The Morbidelli CX and UX ranges are dedicated drilling and grooving machines for panel furniture. They’re faster and more consistent than drilling on a router when most of the work is holes for hinges, shelves and fittings.
Solid wood machining centres. Balestrini machines, such as the Idea and Power, are built for solid wood parts like chair and table components. They clamp and machine awkward shapes that a flat-table router can’t hold.
How Much Does a CNC Machine Cost?
It depends on the type, size and specification. Used and ex-demonstration nesting machines start from around £15,000. New machines are priced to order, depending on table size, spindle power, tool changer and software. We’ll give you a quote for the specification you actually need, and finance lets you spread the cost.
Choosing the Right CNC
- What you make: sheet goods cut to size point to a nesting machine. Shaped solid wood parts point to a 5-axis or solid wood machining centre.
- Table size: match it to the largest sheet or part you work with.
- Space and power: check floor space, a three-phase supply, compressed air and dust extraction before you order.
- Software: ask which CAD/CAM software the machine runs and whether it works with what you already use.
If you’re not sure which type fits, tell us what you make, your typical sheet sizes and your weekly output, and we’ll recommend a machine.
