The Sedgwick SM255T Tilting Spindle Moulder is a highly durable, robust spindle moulder that has ‘True-Tilt’ – a unique rise-and-fall system allowing for vertical adjustment of the spindle, independent of the tilting function. When adjusted up or down, the angled tool keeps the same position relative to the fence assembly, making setups and adjustments much easier. It is capable of tilting 5 degrees forward and 45 degrees backward.

The Sedgwick SM255T Tilting Spindle Moulder is built on a super-tough cast iron table which is mounted on a steel cabinet. The cast iron table has an anti-friction, planed finish so that your material can be fed smoothly past the cutter head. Also made of robust cast iron are the bearing housing, rise & fall assembly and motor mountings.

For ease of use, the spindle rise, fall and tilt mechanisms are operated via a handle located at the front of the machine. Each adjustment has a digital readout for greater accuracy. Changing speeds is simplified with an easy-access belt system. The spindle speed is displayed on the viewing panel. Additionally, the machine has a loose top, removable spindle which allows you to easily switch between 30mm and 1 1/4 “ spindles.
